ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Admission requirements outlined in details below will have to be uploaded via the appropriate link depending on whether or not the applicant attended any education level in USC.

    • if you have attended any education level or have graduated from USC, click this link as you will be using the same USC ID number you had. Failure to apply via this link would result in integration issues of your school records.

    • if you have not attended any education level in USC, click this link as the system still has to generate a unique ID number for you

For Incoming Freshmen Applicants

    1. Grade 11 and Grade 12 (First Semester) Grades

    2. School ID (A Certificate of Eligibility is required should there be no available school ID. click this for the template)

    4. A Personal Statement of not less than 200 words (click this for the template). The Personal Statement shall be submitted in Microsoft Word format and shall be accompanied with a Statement of Originality and Sole Authorship (not to be included in the word count). The Statement of Originality and Sole Authorship is the applicant’s solemn attestation to the Office of the Department Chair that the piece is her or his own work.

For Graduate Program Applicants

For those with non-USC undergraduate degree

    1. Certificate of Transfer Credentials (Honorable Dismissal)

    2. Transcript of Records (TOR)

    3. 1 copy 2x2 colored photo with white background

    4. Recommendations from a faculty of the previous school or colleagues (click this for the recommendation form)

    5. A Personal Statement of not less than 200 words (click this for the template). The Personal Statement shall be submitted in Microsoft Word format and shall be accompanied with a Statement of Originality and Sole Authorship (not to be included in the word count). The Statement of Originality and Sole Authorship is the applicant’s solemn attestation to the Office of the Department Chair that the piece is her or his own work.

  5. Clearance from Office of Student Formation and Activities (previously OSA)

    • contact the Office Student Formation and Activities (OSFA) for interview by filling up this form. you will be informed of the interview schedule through the email you indicated on the form

    • based on the interview, OSFA may issue you a clearance via email so you can proceed with the program application process

For JD Applicants

  1. Transcript of Records (TOR)

  2. Certificate of good moral character (for Non-USC graduates)

  3. Personal Statement (click this for the template) in not more than 1,000 words that will enable the Dean’s Office to get to know the applicant and assess his or her readiness to enroll in the law program. The Personal Statement shall be submitted in Microsoft Word format and shall indicate the applicant’s desired law program (ie., whether JDWT or JDNT). It shall likewise be accompanied with a Statement of Originality and Sole Authorship (not to be included in the word count). The Statement of Originality and Sole Authorship is applicant’s solemn attestation to the Dean’s Office that the Personal Statement is his or her own work.

  4. Optional Submission: In addition to the Personal Statement, the applicant may submit any of the following to enable the Dean to get to know the applicant more: Academic essay of not more than 1,000 words on how he or she responded to the Covid-19 pandemic, or, a 90-second video on any topic the applicant may wish to expound on

    • in cases wherein the department chair requires for an interview, you will be given a date, time and a meeting link

    • in cases wherein the department chair disapproves you to the program you applied for, please contact the admissions office for other program options

Once admitted, the student can now proceed to enrollment.

*Special arrangements due to COVID: A student is tagged to the applied program for temporary enrollment until the original copy of the Report Card and PSA birth certificate are submitted. Submission of the original copies must be done within one (1) academic year.
